By NY Hot List staff | January 11, 2024
The $100,000, 1 1/8 mile Busanda at Aqueduct on Saturday is the first official points race for the 2024 Kentucky Oaks that offers the increased qualifying points of [20-10-6-4-2]. The Kenny McPeek-trainee Glimmering Allure was made the 4-5 morning line favorite in the field of five 3-year-old fillies.
Glimmering Allure will try the nine-furlong distance again after running second in the Demoiselle (G2). The daughter of Enticed was a winner at the Big A in the Tempted by three lengths back in November.
“The winner looks like she went down south [for the winter] but we stayed put here,” McPeek said. “Hopefully, we’ll have a big chance to win again.”
