Royal Ascot 2026 Results So Far, Plus Gold Cup, Friday and Saturday Tips

We are halfway through Royal Ascot 2026 and the week has already torn up a few formbooks. The Queen Anne went to a 50/1 outsider, Aidan O'Brien moved within touching distance of a century of Royal Ascot winners, and the feature Prince of Wales's Stakes went exactly the way we called it. Here is a recap of the results from the first two days, then our best bets for Thursday's Gold Cup, Friday's two Group 1s, and Saturday's closing sprint.

Royal Ascot 2026 results coverage from MyWinners, where US fans can bet every race online or at a Winners venue in CT.

All odds are fractional, the standard format for British racing. Every race at Royal Ascot is available to bet with MyWinners, and online betting is open to all customers 18 and older. First post each day is 9:30am ET, with the feature races going off late morning on the East Coast.

Tuesday's Results: Opening Day Shocks

Opening day belonged to the outsiders and to Ballydoyle. Ten Bob Tony, a 50/1 shot trained by Ed Walker, stayed on strongly to win the Queen Anne Stakes and stun the market. Our headline tip Notable Speech, the heavily backed Godolphin miler, never landed a blow.

A winner crosses the line as MyWinners brings the Royal Ascot 2026 results to racing fans across Connecticut and the USA.

Aidan O'Brien took the King Charles III Stakes with the 14/1 Mission Central, moving towards a career century of Royal Ascot winners, and added a Coventry Stakes with Great Barrier Reef at 6/1. In the St James's Palace Stakes, the 2000 Guineas winner Bow Echo justified 5/6 favouritism. The handicappers had their say later in the card, with Kizlyar landing the Ascot Stakes at 25/1 and Map Of Stars taking the Wolferton at 13/2, while Daiquiri Bay won the Copper Horse at 6/1.

Wednesday's Results: Ombudsman Delivers

Day two handed us the result we wanted most. Ombudsman, our headline win tip in the preview, defended his Prince of Wales's Stakes crown as the 11/10 favourite, powering clear late under William Buick. The trends we flagged held up: the winner came from the head of the market and was the proven, battle-hardened older horse. Anyone who followed our strongest call of the week collected on the race of the day.

It was a day for the favourites in the Group races, with Victorious landing the Queen Mary at 10/3 to move Aidan O'Brien towards his Royal Ascot century, Blue Bolt taking the Duke of Cambridge at 5/2, and Alobayyah winning the Kensington Palace at 11/4. Limestone justified strong support in the Queen's Vase at 10/3. The two big-field cavalry charges went the way of the outsiders, though, with Rogue Diplomat causing a 28/1 shock in the Royal Hunt Cup and King Of Cloughan landing the Windsor Castle at 33/1

How Our Preview Tips Stand

A mixed start, but the big one landed. Notable Speech in the Queen Anne was beaten by a 50/1 shock that nobody saw coming. Ombudsman in the Prince of Wales's, the strongest play in the whole preview, won as the 11/10 favourite and defended his title in style. With the Gold Cup and the Friday and Saturday Group 1s still to come, there is plenty left to fight for.

Thursday Tips: The Gold Cup

Horses in the parade ring ahead of a Group 1, part of the Royal Ascot 2026 results guide from MyWinners in Connecticut.

Thursday is staying day, and the two-and-a-half-mile Gold Cup at 11:15am ET is the centrepiece. The good news for the formbook is that defending champion Trawlerman has made it to post after a troubled prep. He broke the track record winning this last year, but he reappears without a run all season and will wear goggles in the parade ring for an eye condition that makes him sensitive to light. He is 7/2.

That leaves the door ajar for Scandinavia, the 7/4 favourite. The Aidan O'Brien colt won last year's St Leger, has won both starts this season at Navan and Leopardstown, and looks the heir to Kyprios as Ballydoyle's super stayer. A win gives O'Brien a record-extending tenth Gold Cup. The win-and-place interest is Rahiebb at 4/1, the Roger Varian colt who was a neck second to Scandinavia in the St Leger and won the Yorkshire Cup on his reappearance.

OutfielderCommonwealth Cup (Fri)20/1Win & Place
PreciseCoronation Stakes (Fri)8/13Win

Our Thursday call: Scandinavia to win. He is improving with every start, the defending champion is dangerously short of a prep run, and six of the last ten Gold Cups have gone to the favourite. Back Rahiebb to win and place if you want a saver at a price.

Friday Tips: Commonwealth Cup and Coronation Stakes

Friday brings two Group 1s. The Commonwealth Cup at 10:05am ET is a six-furlong dash for three-year-olds, and Karl Burke's Venetian Sun is a warm 7/4 favourite after an unbeaten record over the trip and a three-length demolition in the Sandy Lane at Haydock. She sets a high standard.

The American angle is alive here. Wesley Ward saddles Outfielder, the Speightstown colt co-owned by former MLB outfielder Jayson Werth, who has drifted to 20/1. He was beaten under three lengths in last year's Group 1 Prix Morny and arrives off two prep wins this year, including a stakes-record run at Churchill Downs. The Commonwealth Cup throws up regular upsets, with four of the last eight going to horses at 8/1 or bigger, so Outfielder at 20/1 is a live win-and-place play for those who want a piece of the Ward raid.

The Coronation Stakes at 11:20am ET, over a mile for three-year-old fillies, has firmed into a duel. Precise is now odds-on at 8/13 after winning the Irish 1000 Guineas, with old rival True Love at 11/4. Those two have split a Classic apiece this year, and the rubber match favours the filly who got the better of it most recently.

Selection Race Odds Bet Type
Venetian SunCommonwealth Cup (Fri)7/4Win
OutfielderCommonwealth Cup (Fri)20/1Win & Place
PreciseCoronation Stakes (Fri)8/13Win

Our Friday calls: Venetian Sun to win the Commonwealth Cup on the strength of her unbeaten record over six furlongs, with Outfielder to win and place the percentage play if you want the American at a big price. Precise to confirm Irish Guineas form in the Coronation. Standard caveat applies: check the morning declarations and the going before you stake.

Saturday Tips: Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes

Crowds watch the action at Ascot as MyWinners covers the Royal Ascot 2026 results for bettors in Connecticut and the USA.

The meeting signs off on Saturday with the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at 10:40am ET, a six-furlong Group 1 sprint and one of the most competitive races of the week. Last year Lazzat took it for France, getting an easy lead and quickening clear, and he returns to defend at around 9/2.

The one that got away last year heads the market this time. Satono Reve, Japan's top sprinter, was an unlucky runner-up in 2025 after the race was run to suit the winner, and he is a 2/1 favourite to gain compensation on ground and a trip that look ideal. Inisherin, the Kevin Ryan sprinter, is a solid second favourite at 3/1 after running well at this level. With Australian mare Joliestar also in the mix, this is a deep, international renewal.

Selection Race Odds Bet Type
Satono ReveQEII Jubilee Stakes (Sat)2/1Win
InisherinQEII Jubilee Stakes (Sat)3/1Win & Place

Our Saturday call: Satono Reve to win. He was beaten by the run of the race twelve months ago, he is a proven world-class sprinter, and a more honest gallop this time should play to his strengths. Inisherin is the win-and-place saver if you want a second runner in a competitive heat.
