The Final Eight

raphic showing France vs Morocco odds for the World Cup 2026 quarterfinal at Gillette Stadium.

France, Morocco, Spain, Belgium, Norway, England, Argentina and Switzerland make up the World Cup 2026 quarterfinal field. France have not trailed once this tournament and arrive as the outright favorites at plus 180 with Fanatics Sportsbook. Spain have not conceded a goal through five matches. Argentina are chasing back to back titles behind Lionel Messi in what looks like his final World Cup, and Norway are into their first ever quarterfinal thanks to Erling Haaland, who leads every scoring chart in the tournament. Two quarterfinals go Thursday and Friday, with the other two on Saturday, before the bracket narrows to a semifinal pairing set for July 14 in Arlington and July 15 in Atlanta.

France vs Morocco: Thursday, July 9, 4pm ET, Gillette Stadium, Foxborough

France vs Morocco Odds Market Odds
France 90 Minute Moneyline -175
Draw 90 Minute Moneyline +280
Morocco 90 Minute Moneyline +550
France To Advance -420
Morocco To Advance +310
Total Goals Over/Under 2.5

This is a rematch of the 2022 semifinal, and France head in as heavy favorites at minus 175 on the 90 minute moneyline, with Morocco out at plus 550 and the draw at plus 280. To advance through regulation, extra time and penalties, France sit at minus 420 against Morocco's plus 310. Kylian Mbappe has seven goals in five games and sits one behind Messi's career World Cup scoring record, and France have outscored opponents 14 to 2 across the tournament.

Morocco will be without Ismael Saibari after a hamstring strain, with Soufiane Rahimi starting in his place, but the Atlas Lions still carry the counter attacking threat of Bilal El Khannouss and Azzedine Ounahi. France have won six straight and have the deeper squad, but Morocco held Canada scoreless on their way here and have kept clean sheets in two of five matches. We like France to win comfortably but the over 2.5 goals total, currently sitting around even money, is where the value looks strongest given how both sides have played the tournament so far.

Spain vs Belgium: Friday, July 10, 3pm ET, SoFi Stadium, Inglewood

Spain vs Belgium Odds Market Odds
Spain 90 Minute Moneyline -160
Draw 90 Minute Moneyline +280
Belgium 90 Minute Moneyline +470
Spain To Advance -350
Belgium To Advance +265
Total Goals Over/Under 2.5

Spain have been the tightest defensive side left in the field, with a perfect record without conceding a goal through five matches including shutouts of Austria and Portugal in the knockout rounds. That has Spain priced at minus 160 on the moneyline and minus 350 to advance, with Belgium out at plus 470 to win in regulation and plus 265 to reach the semifinal.

Belgium arrive off their most complete performance of the tournament, a 4 to 1 win over the United States built on a Charles De Ketelaere brace, and Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku both look set to start after coming off the bench in the round of 16. History leans hard toward Spain, who are 5 and 2 with 1 draw across eight all time meetings with Belgium and have won the last five in a row dating back to 1990. Rodri and Pedri give Spain control in midfield, and with Lamine Yamal continuing to create at will, we favor Spain to advance but expect Belgium's pace on the counter to keep this one closer than the moneyline suggests.

Norway vs England: Saturday, July 11, 5pm ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens

Norway vs England Odds Market Odds
England 90 Minute Moneyline -110
Draw 90 Minute Moneyline +260
Norway 90 Minute Moneyline +280
England To Advance -190
Norway To Advance +155
Total Goals Over/Under 2.5

Norway have never been to a World Cup quarterfinal before this tournament, and they got here by knocking out five time champions Brazil 2 to 1 on a Haaland brace. Haaland now has seven goals in five games and is the outright leader in the Golden Boot race. England are the modest favorites at around minus 110 on the 90 minute line, with Norway out near plus 260 to plus 280 and the draw priced similarly.

To advance, England sit around minus 190 against Norway's plus 155. England won 3 to 2 at the Azteca against Mexico in the round of 16, with Jude Bellingham scoring twice inside 90 seconds, though Jarell Quansah is now suspended after a red card and Reece James is expected to step into a reshuffled back line. Harry Kane has six goals of his own this tournament. The whole match comes down to whether England's defense, missing a starter, can keep the tournament's hottest striker quiet for 90 minutes. We lean England to advance but expect Haaland to find the net regardless, so both teams to score and the over 2.5 total both carry appeal here.

Argentina vs Switzerland: Saturday, July 11, 9pm ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City

Argentina vs Switzerland Odds Market Odds
Argentina 90 Minute Moneyline -145
Draw 90 Minute Moneyline +260
Switzerland 90 Minute Moneyline +450
Argentina To Advance -320
Switzerland To Advance +245
Total Goals Over/Under 2.5

Argentina needed a stoppage time goal from Enzo Fernandez to complete a comeback from 2 to 0 down against Egypt, and that dramatic 3 to 2 win sets up a quarterfinal against a Switzerland side that ground out a scoreless draw with Colombia before winning 4 to 3 on penalties. Argentina are priced at minus 145 on the moneyline and minus 320 to advance, with Switzerland out at plus 450 to win in regulation and plus 245 to reach the semifinal.

Messi leads the tournament with eight goals in what may be his final World Cup appearance, and Argentina have never lost to Switzerland in seven meetings, winning five and drawing two. Every one of Argentina's seven World Cup knockout matches since 2018 has produced three or more total goals, a trend that makes the over 2.5 total, priced right around even money, one of the more attractive numbers on the board this weekend. Switzerland have the tighter defensive identity of the two sides and will look to slow the game down, but Argentina's attacking talent in Messi, Lautaro Martinez and Julian Alvarez gives them the class edge.

Odds to Win the World Cup

France remain the clear favorites at the top of the outright market after reaching the quarterfinals without trailing in a single match. Spain and Argentina have both shortened since the round of 16, and England have moved into the mix on the back of their win over Mexico. See the full board below.
