$600 to $5,000 — These prizes need to be validated at a CT Lottery District Office or High Tier Claim Center. You'll receive a check from the CT Lottery directly.
Over $5,000 — Prizes over $5,000 are paid by the CT Lottery Corporation at their headquarters. ID and a completed claim form are required.
All winning tickets have an expiration date. CT Lottery tickets are valid for 180 days from the draw date (for draw games) or the game's expiration date (for scratch games). Make sure you claim before the deadline — once a ticket expires, the prize cannot be paid.
