Four of our five Future Stars Friday picks won at Keeneland, so the Breeders’ Cup started well for us. Libertango, Emphatic, Sun Goddess and Hughes all got home, while Folsom Blues went down by 1 3/4 lengths as the favorite in the Juvenile Turf. As a result, a $2 win bet on each of the five cost $10 and returned $21.00.
First, our Breeders’ Cup 2026 results run through every Friday winner with the rider, trainer and payout. Then we score our tips. That all comes before Championship Saturday’s nine Grade 1s start at 1:10pm ET. We will also add each Saturday result here after the race.

Friday, October 30 at Keeneland. Payouts are for a $2 win bet, while Equibase carries the official charts.
Meanwhile, Aidan O’Brien and Bob Baffert spent the afternoon trading records. First, Hughes gave Baffert his 22nd Breeders’ Cup win, which tied O’Brien’s mark. Then, less than an hour later, Haffner took O’Brien to 23 and made him the event’s all-time leading trainer.
Future Stars Friday Race by Race
Juvenile Turf Sprint: Libertango Gets Us Off the Mark
Our weekend started at 2:55pm ET, when Libertango paid $5.74 to win. Billy Loughnane rode her for George Boughey, while Hell of A Spin finished second. After that, the stewards took Harper’s Corner down from third. So check any exotic tickets against the official order.
Juvenile Fillies: Emphatic Gives Brendan Walsh His First Breeders’ Cup Win
Emphatic came next at 3:35pm ET, and Tyler Gaffalione kept her unbeaten. She beat Miss Monica, while Manuka Honey ran third. At $7.92, she was also the best price of our four winners.
On top of that, she handed Brendan Walsh his first Breeders’ Cup winner, so she is now four from four.
Juvenile Fillies Turf: Sun Goddess Lands Our Strongest Call
Then came Sun Goddess, our strongest call of the day. She won as the favorite, which came as no surprise after her wins in the Phoenix, the Moyglare and the Cheveley Park in Europe this season. Ryan Moore rode for Aidan O’Brien, while Green Empress chased her home and Curracloe ran third. The $3.70 price was short, but this was the banker we wanted.
Breeders’ Cup Juvenile: Hughes Stays Unbeaten
Hughes then did exactly what the numbers said he would. Flavien Prat had him 2 1/4 lengths clear of American History at the line, while Salahudin missed second by a head. He also stopped the clock in 1:42.27 for the 1 1/16 miles and paid $3.64.
So Baffert had his record-tying 22nd Breeders’ Cup win. We had four from four.
Juvenile Turf: Haffner Beats Our Pick Folsom Blues
Finally, the Juvenile Turf was the one that got away. Close, but not quite. Folsom Blues went off the 5/2 favorite and ran his race, but Haffner beat him by 1 3/4 lengths at 7/2. That gave Ryan Moore a Friday double for Aidan O’Brien after Sun Goddess, and Haffner paid $9.46.
Even so, Folsom Blues held on for second ahead of Avec Toi, so a place bet on him still came back.
How Our Breeders’ Cup Tips Went
Overall, our blog tips ran four from five on Friday. So a $2 win bet on each turned $10 into $21.00, an $11 profit before Saturday. The Our Pick column in the Friday results table also shows how each one finished.
A Big Friday for Mike B and The Morning Line
Mike B from our VIP and Community team also writes The Morning Line, our weekly newsletter. In fact, Friday’s issue made Sun Goddess the strongest call of the day and put Hughes on top in the exacta. He also flagged Libertango and Emphatic, and all four won. The Hughes exacta over American History landed too.
Folsom Blues got a mention in the same issue, though he ran second. Still, if you had rolled $1 on Libertango into Emphatic, then on to Sun Goddess and Hughes, it would have come back as $38.27. Nice work, Mike.
